2nd June 2010... fine morning at 6.30.. I was in OT at Gupte Hospital.. This is pulse and BP moniter, this is saline to keep you hydrated.... sisters in OT room were telling me and I was like hmm hmm and hmm.. humming all the way.. little tense, little anxious and little worried about whats gonna happen in next few minutes. Anaesthetist came in asked me to sit and injected anaesthesia in my spine. Said "now your lower lumbar region wont feel senses although you will notice movements around you and you will hear what we are talking." Sr. Doc came in OT looked at me while I was given anaesthesia and said," Dont worry everything is gonna be alrite." Nurse helped me in resting myself on the table and then it was all handed over to docs. I cud feel doc opening my stomach... I heard him saying "NOW PUSH" and I cud notice the other doc pushing... I heard crying.... My baby cried... immediately after birth... moment of joy happiness and moment of anxiety of knowing about baby whether all well or no... It was a feeling... Feeling of being mom... once again.. Doc said,"Congratulations mother... its a baby boy!" I dont remember what was my reaction. He then added," there are two loops of cord around his neck. But he is alrite." and then he went out. Nurse cleaned up baby.. kept him in warmer for 10 15 mins and then baby was handed over to my family. Everyone was happy to see the little angel. specially Tanmay.... for him being elder bro... the Dada of the little one.. caring loving and papmering him thru't his life..
