It was around 1.30 - 1.45 in afternoon. Cellphone rang.. "Hello" "I am Tanmay's class teacher. Tanmay has fever and also has vomited. Can you arrange for his pick up within next 30 - 40 mins?" When his class teacher declared the time to pick up I thought it was really matter to think of. First call went to Gopal. "can u pick him?" "I came on cycle today... I will grab friends bike and pick him you dont worry." "you will be traveling on highway. it will be windy." "What to do now?" "ok.. give me some time I will arrange for something.." "Radha...." the only word I uttered... "I will call back you in some time.." I told Gopal and kept phone down. Next moment was call to Radha.. "What are u doing?" "Nothing spl yaar.. Anushree got fever so she is at home." With a little hesitation I asked, "got a call from Tanmay's school. He has fever and also vomited, I need your help." "Dont bother. I will b down in 5 mins." Before I could lock door and get down the first floor, she was there with her car. It was not even 5 mins when she reached me. We brought tanmay back home. he was tired and fever was there. Radha herself went to medical shop, brought medicins. dropped me home and she went back. it was about 1 hr travel from home - school - home..
When you offer a help to someone its really effortless. You dont feel anything troublesome in it or you dont feel tiresome. but when someone needs your help and when he / she gets it within time, it feels more like God running down your way saying "I am there for you... " Thanks for being there when I needed you much!

come to the point! :))
A couple of days ago I came across an article in Marathi News paper Lokmat. here is the link to that article.
http://onlinenews1.lokmat.com/php/detailednews.php?id=SakhiEdition-53-1-28-07-2011-32e8e&ndate=2011-07-28&editionname=sakhi
The article is in Marathi and is a narration of small incident, usually happening in our day to day life. The husband in the article is at home because of a holiday. Wife tells him that she has to go to friends home so she will be back in about 2 hrs. But she comes home early. Husband surprisingly asks her why she came early.. and she starts telling every bit since she stepped out of home. Looking at husband still watching TV, she gets irritated and husband replies that she should talk to the point and not to narrate the whole uninteresting story. She simply replies, "I got cramp in leg while walking." And she keeps quiet. After silence of about a min, husband switches off TV, turns to her, asks her many questions, whose answers she was about to narrate in the story!!! :))
Moral given in article was," If woman wants to chit chat with husband, She should answer her questions in one line.!! :))"
How true it is.....

Surprise call
Its been so many days... may b months... or even years.... +44xxxx Number flashed on my mobile and I was surprised.. who is calling from chennai??? then I got a second thought its not +9144... its +44 so must be international call.. who is going to place a call from UK?? Who this must be???? with this thought I recieved call.... "Hey hello ga... Sunita bolat aahe..." ( Hey hi.. this is Sunita") And I was surprised... "Hey what a pleasent surprise..."
Sunita... my friend during engineering... very talkative... happy go lucky.. active and supportive... about 10 years after the degree, we saw each other out side the park in London.. I had a thought I know this face.. but I cudnt recall her. A few days later, we again crossed each other, this time on the road returning home.. "U were in MGM college rite?" She asked... "I m sunita.." She reintroduced herself mentioning I took her intro during degree... :)) with a smile on face, we returned home. Since then there were frequent visits to each others places and we shared a nice time.
Some 8 - 10 months later, we came back to India. When I told her about our return journey to India, she was the first person to give the helping hand in packing and cleaning.. She was the only one who called up saying I am there with u.. dont worry about packing. She came early in the morning and was there till I said bye to her. She had tears in her eyes.. She said, She will feel lonely and She will miss me all the way. :-) She made me feel special.. it was not for the first time she made me feel special. It was all occasions, and all time tht I spent with her when she made me feel special.
I spent nice time with her. I learnt so many things,, right from making samosa, kachori, jilebi.. up to concentrating in studies!!! She is a personality with determination.. always cheered up.. never gets depressed... finds happiness in all things and is always ready to accept and face challeneges.
:-) It will be nice spending time with Sunita again. She is to come back India after couple of months. Welcome home Sunita!!! Waiting for u to come back and have tht jhakaas time again together.. Hope we will Rock pune too!!! Like we rocked Ilford :))

in past so many days
Rarely I get time to peep into past and recall memories. Surprisingly I got some time today. Everyone is sleeping. I am watching one sided T-20 match between Kochi and Deccan Chargers. While wickets were falling like free flow salt, I thought of checkig my blogger account. Some updates were there to which I commented. Went through comments on my posts. and then posted a post. I was about to keep things aside but then thought to list out what I havent done in past many many days.
The first thing came in mind was songsssss... There was a time when I used to lisn songs every min.. may it be my 90 mins cassette of classical songs, or may it be playlist in iPod. Its been days n months since I last enjoyed them.
Later thing was watching a match without disturbance. Tanmay is a big questionnaire for me. Why this, How is that, What makes this happen... many many many questions emerge out of his mind and I battle with them. :-)
Then was reading a book. Last non mythological book I read was in yr 2001 :)). I felt pity on myself. May b I am not able to manage the time. may be I have became little lazier than before Or may be this is another phase of life where I need to pay attention towards things other than my favs.
Ice-creammmmssssss...... Gosh I love them! havent enjoyed ice-cream for a long time! whatever may be the reason.. I like to enjoy icecream with a company. at times it happens that one of us has to finish it early and wrap up the enjoyment.
I knw its a phase of life. And old days are gonna come back again. Thats why I am waiting for those days to come back in life.

Now days...
Day begins at around 7.30 AM now days since Tanmay's exams are over. Tanmay's Threading ceremony preps are on high. Pooja, gifts, reception, invitations and above all looking after toddling Rohan. Ah Rohan.. He is standing up now. Stands for about 10 - 20 seconds without support. Tanmay is enjoying this phase. Sometimes I feel gud that Tanmay is grown up enough to understand those changes in Rohan. He enjoys each moment. Moreover his exams are over. So he is giving his full time to younger bro. playing, talking with him, having some nice time and enjoying the fun. At times I need to saperate them both to complete some task. But still at the end of the day its a happy time.
And tanmay.. He is rocking those days. Mainly exams are over. So no restrictions on anything! watching TV, playing bayblades and racing, games, learning tricks, and swimming. He is enjoying fun filled life. Tanmay is giving me helping hand wherever its possible for him. I sometimes remember my childhood summer holidays. We used to go to Loha, my native, during summer holidays. Playing games, roaming around, having nice talks with elderly ppl and then finally coming back home and talking to parents and grand parents. Things changed slowly and we grew up. time flew away. Many things changed, couple of summer classes, couple of hobby classes and some subject revision, kids are engaged.
Tanmay is doing awesome with his swimming and Abacus skills. He scored 100% in his abacus batch. learning different swimming strokes. He is doing good with Tabla too. His sir is happy to see him playing "dir dir" and "tir tir" kaayda. I hope he continues doing gud in future too.
miving on with time. sometimes feels to peep in past and feels to compare today with y'day. but not finding time to do those things. getting busy with Rohan and Tanmay.
